Aratech® A716 aramid calendered paper is a flexible electrical insulation material, it features a balanced combination of dielectric performance, thermal resistance, and mechanical compressive strength, enabling reliable insulation protection under high thermal load conditions.
Its structure is optimized for excellent adhesive properties and outstanding lamination process stability, can be efficient laminated with polyester (PET) film and polyimide (PI) film to form flexible laminated composite insulation materials without fiber lifting, surface dusting, or edge delamination. making it suitable for slot liners, phase separators, interlayer insulation, and coil wrapping in motors, transformers, and power reactors operating within F/H-class (155–180 °C) electrical insulation systems

A716 is mainly combined with polyester film, polyimide film etc. to form flexible composite materials, widely applied in electrical fields requiring F/H-class insulation ratings.

Phase insulation for motors with curved slots or complex geometry

Interlayer insulation in transformers (dry-type or oil-immersed)

Utilized for linear wrapping of wire and wrapping leads in liquid-immersed transformers.

Applied as slot insulation in hand-wound motors and main insulation for large generators.

Used as sheet insulation in wet (oil-filled) and dry-type transformers
